This is where we plan to grow up from Baby Can Travel and truly discover our travel groove as a family.
If you’ve been to our Baby Can Travel site then you probably know a little about us, but here’s a recap:
We are a family of four living in Alberta, Canada and we are passionate about travel. When we first found out we were going to have a baby, we made a promise to each other that we would find a way to keep travelling. We enjoyed our first trip with our daughter (when she was 3 months old) so much that we decided to create Baby Can Travel. We want to inspire new parents to keep travelling after having a baby. If this sounds like something you would like to do, then we invite you to check out the travel guides we have written for new parents!
Before we had kids, in conjunction with our passion for travel was our passion to be outdoors. We spent an entire year travelling the world and in each place we would look for ways to be active outside, whether this meant cycling the city walls of Xian, China or walking the High Line in NYC. In our everyday life, we would spend our weekends in the mountains hiking or snowshoeing. Heck, we even went on a hiking trip in Nepal for our honeymoon.
As you may have found, welcoming a baby into your life makes doing all the things you did before a little more complicated. Sure, we still find a way to get outside, but it is different and we accept that. However, our mission is to encourage our children to love the outdoors and love travel. The only way we know how to accomplish that is by doing it!
Family Can Travel is going to be all about travelling with children and sharing our style of travel. We hope you will join us on this journey and share your travel moments too!
We created a place for families to discuss travel. Whether you are looking for the best place to stay or family friendly restaurants, someone in the community can help answer your questions! Join here
