Bled with Kids
Bled, Slovenia has been on our bucket list for a long time, so we were very excited we planned our family summer vacation to Austria and Slovenia. Our visit to Bled with kids was a bit unconventional as we came and went several times due to the family-friendly hiking and biking tours we enjoyed during our 14 days in Slovenia with kids.
2 Days in Bovec with Kids
We don’t have many regrets when we travel, but we regret having only 2 days in Bovec with kids. During the entirety of our stay, we couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the mountain setting around Bovec is.
Hut to Hut Hiking in Slovenia with Kids
Ever since we did our first multi-day family hiking tour in Colombia, we’ve been seeking another kid-friendly hiking tour. We had a guide in Colombia, so this time we were especially interested in a self-guided hiking tour where we could venture out and enjoy our hiking at our own pace. As we were planning our summer family holiday to Europe, we became determined to try hut to hut hiking in Slovenia.
