The Best Family Friendly Hotels in Seville

Seville is a vibrant and captivating Spanish city that offers something for everyone, making it an ideal destination for families looking to make the most of their vacation. Here are some excellent accommodation options for families visiting Seville.

1. Barcelรณ Sevilla Renacimiento

Considered one of the best places to stay in Seville with kids, the Barcelรณ Sevilla Renacimiento is a beautiful, modern hotel just 5 minutes away from Sevilleโ€™s city centre.

One of the best features of Barcelรณ Sevilla Renacimiento is its large family rooms and interconnecting suites, giving families plenty of space to relax – a luxury for a European hotel.

Your kids will love the large outdoor swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing around Seville. For those traveling in the summer, the hotel also offers a seasonal pirate-themed kids’ club, adding an extra layer of fun for children.

Another reason why the Barcelรณ Sevilla Renacimiento tops our list of family-friendly hotels in Seville is its proximity to Isla Mรกgica, Sevilleโ€™s popular amusement and water park. The theme park is only 500m away, making it easy to walk to, but you can also take advantage of the free train from the hotel to the theme park.

2. Hotel Colรณn Gran Meliรก

As one of the most luxurious family hotels for kids in Seville, the 5-star Hotel Colรณn Gran Meliรก has become popular among families.

Parents will love some of the family-friendly room configurations at the Hotel Colรณn Gran Meliรก. For example, they offer large family rooms which feature multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. We always appreciate having a private space once the kids go to bed.

The kids will love the rooftop swimming pool, which is extremely rare for a hotel in the historic town center.

The Hotel Colรณn Gran Meliรก is 15 minutes from the Alcazar Palace, while the Giralda Tower and the Cathedral de Seville are 10 minutes away. In addition to the swimming pool, the rooftop contains a terrace that provides a spectacular view of the city.

Parents who want to spend time alone can get babysitting services from the hotel.

Although expensive, the Hotel Colรณn Gran Meliรก offers is a luxurious, kid-friendly hotel which will allow you to enjoy Seville like never before.

3. Petit Palace Santa Cruz

Praised as one of the best kid-friendly hotels in Seville, Petit Palace Santa Cruz is conveniently located in the historical city centre. Housed in a 16th-century mansion, this boutique hotel perfectly blends contemporary and traditional designs.

Petit Palace Santa Cruz has tons of amenities & features which give it a high spot on our list of kid-friendly Seville hotels. First of all, they have several room configurations which include bunk beds. My kids love bunk beds, and I love that they can sleep much better in their own beds.

Moreover, upon your arrival at the Petit Palace Santa Cruz, the staff will welcome your kids with a small gift. This small touch always makes a child feel special and welcome at a new hotel.

I love that the hotel offers free bike rentals, which is always a fun way to explore a new city.

Finally, the location of Petit Palace Santa Cruz is ideal for a families. It’s right on the outskirts of old town Seville, making it easy to walk to virtually everything you want to see.

4. Palacio Bucarelli

Another former mansion, the Palacio Bucarelli has been stylishly renovated to offer modern amenities while retaining its historical charm. Close to the river, this family-friendly hotel features a great, central location in the historic center.

The Palacio Bucarelli offers spacious 2-bedroom apartments, with a double bed and two singles. This is my favorite hotel room configuration – not only do the parents get privacy at night, but the kids each get their own bed. This configuration is very hard to find in European hotels, especially ones in the historic town center.

Your kids will enjoy a dip in the plunge pool after a hot day of seeing the sights in Seville. They also offer babysitting services, outdoor patios, and a bicycle rental service.

If you have a large family, then you should check out the Hotel Rey Alfonso X. Located near the historic town center of Seville, this hotel has a unique, 4-bedroom penthouse apartment.

Where We Stayed in Seville

Our family trip to Seville was unplanned. We had made some last-minute changes to our itinerary and suddenly found ourselves visiting Seville during Holy Week – one of the busiest times of year to visit!

It’s hard to find family-friendly hotels in Seville, let alone during Holy Week. We were extremely fortunate to find an excellent vacation rental not far from the Metropol Parasols. As you can see above, I enjoy finding accommodation with separate rooms, so a vacation rental was perfect for us.

Final Thoughts

Planning a family vacation can be pretty challenging, especially when looking for a destination that caters to adults and kids. However, Seville offers a wide range of family-friendly hotels that are ideal for your next trip.

With its unique blend of contemporary and traditional architecture, Seville is a city with a rich history and culture that is perfect for families.
